This is a challenging yet rewarding role, ideal for candidates who are experienced in working with young people with SEN and have a passion for making a positive impact on SEN children. About the Role:As a SEN Teaching Assistant in this role, you will be working with children who have complex autism, this ranges from mild to severe. Some children will also be non-verbal. You will be supporting them throughout their school day, helping them to manage their emotions and behaviour, and encouraging positive engagement in learning.Your key responsibilities will include: Supporting children with ASD, some non-verbal, some with behavioural challenges and emotional struggles Working closely with the school''s SENCo to discuss challenges, and monitor progress Supporting children both academically and socially to help them feel included and engaged with other children Building positive, trusting relationships with children to support their personal development and wellbeingRequirements: Previous experience working in a UK school Previous experience working in a SEND role or with SEN children It wo
