Job Title: Data Engineer (ITEC Data Exploitation) - SageClearance Required: SCDuration: 6 monthsLocation: Telford with 2 days/week in office £402-492 per day Inside IR35 status Job Description:SC is required for this role.Demand on the ITEC Data Exploitation project has dramatically increased necessitating the need for a new team to deliver the Pillar2 Data Exploitation deliveryThis developer role will be primarily working on Talend and Client RDS systems, within our existing Talend framework and patterns. Experience of ETL tooling will be needed, preferably Talend but Pentaho/Informatica experience will be transferable. Experience working in Client RDS databases will also be required. Job spec:Develop project artefacts including (but not limited to) Talend jobs, Client DDL and SQL, GitLab Pipeline enhancementsInvestigate and resolve any defects/issues raised during testing phases.Review colleagues development and test artefacts.Support for Production promotion and warranty'' supportConduct Component Testing of developed artefacts (including test data creation)Support QAs in conducting test phases and debugging issues identified throughout the development life cycleCreate and execute test packs for Component Test automationSupport Performance Testing phaseProvide support and guidance to colleagues and mentor junior engineersReporting to Lead engineer and any scrum-of-scrum discussions Skills:SC clearanceData ETL product experience - Talend preferred
