Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of technical finance, financial reporting and financial controls. This is a technically focused position for a qualified accountant who enjoys delivering accurate reporting, resolving complex accounting matters and building robust processes within a growing business. Responsibilities Lead the month-end and year-end close, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Prepare statutory accounts and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards. Manage the external audit process, coordinating deliverables and resolving queries. Own balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations, accounting judgements and supporting documentation. Maintain and strengthen financial controls, accounting policies and reporting processes. Oversee inventory accounting, stock reconciliations and provisioning. Develop the finance team, setting clear standards and supporting consistent delivery. Improve financial systems and processes to support increasing transaction volumes and business growth.
