You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, utilities, and site services while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and hygiene. Performance Objectives Perform reactive maintenance to minimize production downtime. Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on mechanical and electrical equipment (if competent). Maintain site utilities, buildings, and support services, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and minimize disruption. Ensure that all work meets Food Safety, Health and Safety, and Hygiene standards. Person Specification HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Proven experience in a similar engineering role at a competent level. Strong knowledge of health and safety and food safety regulations. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a collaborative approach to tasks.
