About the Role In this role, you will work as a 1:1 Behaviour Mentor, providing dedicated support to a pupil who requires additional help managing their behaviour and emotions within the classroom environment. A key part of this position involves supporting a child with social, emotional and behavioural needs, helping them to engage positively with learning and develop effective coping strategies. You will: Provide consistent 1:1 support throughout the school dayImplement behaviour plans and follow agreed strategiesHelp the pupil regulate emotions and manage challenging behaviourEncourage positive interactions with peers and staffWork closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support staff This role would suit someone calm, resilient, and confident, with a genuine commitment to supporting children to overcome barriers to learning.
