The Opportunity

The Successful Legal Secretary will provide support to a Private Client Partner, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the department by providing first-class secretarial and administrative support. Duties include:

• Providing day-to-day secretarial support to a Partner
• Preparing correspondence and legal documents
• Audio and copy typing of letters, documents and attendance notes
• Preparing inheritance tax forms and supporting documentation
• Opening new files, carrying out conflict checks
• Managing diaries, arranging meetings and booking appointments
• Handling telephone calls and client enquiries
• Preparing bills, recording time and assisting with general file management
• Maintaining accurate electronic and paper files
• Monitoring inboxes, dealing with post and ensuring deadlines are met
• Providing general administrative support to the team as required

This Legal Secretary position is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pm

Requirements

• At least 4 years'' previous Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary experience within a law firm (essential)
• Experience supporting within a Private Client team (essential)
