Salary: £29,344 – £44,919

Year 5 marks a pivotal stage where expectations rise and maintaining structure and consistency is essential to support pupil progress. As a Year 5 Teacher, you will lead pupils through a more challenging curriculum, fostering strong routines and providing excellent support to ensure their continued development.

• Deliver the Year 5 curriculum across core subjects effectively
• Support the development of reading comprehension and writing skills
• Plan and deliver structured mathematics lessons
• Prepare pupils for progression to upper Key Stage 2
• Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted interventions as needed
• Maintain consistent classroom routines to promote a positive learning environment

• Lessons are well-structured and consistent
• Pupils clearly understand expectations
• Behaviour is well-managed and stable
• Learning progresses steadily and confidently

• Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Effective planning and clear communication abilities

• Consistent pupil progress and attainment
• Increased pupil confidence and engagement
• Maintained strong classroom routines and behaviour

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable; however, applications are welcomed from unqualified teachers with relevant KS2 experience.
