Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the Community Locality Mental Health Team within Westminster City Council.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a Community Locality Mental Health Team delivering adult social care services.
• Provide professional leadership, supervision and support to Social Workers and other practitioners within the team.
• Ensure high-quality assessments, care planning and person-centred interventions are delivered.
• Oversee safeguarding activity and ensure appropriate risk management and decision-making.
• Work closely with health colleagues and wider multidisciplinary partners to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
• Ensure practice is compliant with the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and relevant adult social care legislation.
• Monitor team performance, workload and quality of practice.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of services and practice.
• Provide effective management oversight and ensure work is completed within required timescales.
• Working Pattern: Mainly office based with limited working from home.

Pay Rate

• -43 p/h Umbrella

Essential Requirements:

• Social Work England (SWE) registration.
• Social Work qualification.
• Previous experience in Adult Social Care.
• Strong experience working within Mental Health services.
• Previous management or team management experience.
• Strong knowledge of assessment, safeguarding, risk management and relevant legislation.
• Excellent leadership, supervision and communication skills.
