Vehicle BuilderLocation: Milton KeynesHours: 40 hours per weekHoliday: 25 days + Bank HolidaysSalary: Competitive - dependent on experienceWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Builder to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing operation based in the Milton Keynes area.This is a hands-on, skilled role suited to someone with a strong background in vehicle building, coachbuilding, carpentry/joinery, vehicle interiors, assembly or a similar engineering trade.You will be working as part of an experienced team carrying out the build, refurbishment and repair of vehicle interiors to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesStripping and rebuilding vehicle interiorsRemoving and replacing interior panels and componentsRemoving, repairing and replacing flooring and plywood floor panelsCutting materials accurately to specified shapes and measurementsRe-insulating vehicle panelsCarrying out assembly and fitting workWorking with a range of materials including wood and GRPUsing hand and power tools including saws, chisels, planes, screwdrivers, spanners, torque wrenches, circular saws and jigsawsWorking accurately from written instructions and specificationsCompleting work to the required quality and safety standardsChecking and self-certifying completed work where requiredAbout YouWe are looking for someone who has a good practical engineering or skilled-trade background and takes pride in producing high-quality work.Ideally, you will have:Previous experience ..... full job details .....
