This is a leadership role, reporting to the Chief Technology Operations Officer.You will lead and oversee the strategic planning, development, and management of IT services and infrastructure. You will lead a team of approximately 20 to ensure that the technology services and infrastructure meet the needs of the BMA in all aspects of resource planning and delivery. You will also collaborate with senior colleagues across Technology services to define and deliver against the technology strategy.To ensure your success as the BMA''s Head of Service and Infrastructure, you will ideally have:Proven senior management level experience in technologyExperience of defining and driving delivery of service and infrastructure strategiesProven background in IT service delivery, incident management, and the implementation of ITSM tools and processesExperience of delivering successful projects within both Agile and Plan methodologiesExperience of managing, motivating, and developing high-performing teamsPractical knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including network servers, storage, databases, cloud computing, and virtualization technologiesKnowledge of emerging technology trendsSolid experience with ITIL frameworks and best practicesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven problem-solving skillsAs the BMA embarks on a 3-5 year organizational strategy, the technology roadmap will be a crucial element, with Infrastructure and IT services underpinning this.
