Shift Engineer 50,000 + 5k shift allowence (Continental Shift) (7- 7) days and nights London Key Responsibilities Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all mechanical and electrical systems in line with site schedules and asset lists. Respond to and complete reactive maintenance tasks promptly, including issues related to concessionary areas and fabric-related elements. Actively identify and suggest areas for service improvement. Supervise subcontractors to ensure all works meet contractual standards. Manage work approvals and ensure safe and compliant operations during site activities. Operate a Permit to Work system in line with internal health and safety policies and procedures, as well as client-specific requirements. Promptly address plant faults and defects to maintain operational functionality of all systems. Ensure availability of necessary spare parts for both PPM and reactive tasks; provide parts lists and estimated completion timelines for remedial works. Complete and submit all relevant documentation for reactive and breakdown tasks in a timely manner to the contract administrator. Prepare and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to uphold safe working practices. Build strong working relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, and client representatives. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, including consistent use of uniforms and PPE.
