You will bring a strong technical foundation in façade engineering as well as curiosity and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.You will join our specialist façade team within AESGs multidisciplinary consultancy, working on a varied portfolio of projects - from new-build and retrofit developments to façade remediation - and collaborating with our Fire, Sustainability, Building Safety and other technical experts in our UK and global teams.Responsibilities:Provide façade consultancy services and develop facade design solutions (across a range of projects and project stages) that balance performance, buildability, and aestheticsLead or contribute to new build, retrofit and façade remediation projects across multiple sectorsCarry out or technical reviews and engineering analyses across various project stagesKeep up to date with industry developments, standards and regulationsCollaborate effectively with internal and external consultants, design teams and specialistsSupport site-based technical services, including inspections and compliance monitoringLiaise with clients (architects, contractors, developers) and industry suppliersMentor junior engineers and help develop the teams technical capabilitiesContribute to thought leadership, business development and work winning initiativesThe ideal candidate fits the below profile:A solutions-focused mindset with strong technical problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-facing approachKnowledge of façade systems, materials, and relevant testing and performance standardsKnowledge of UK Building Regulations, industry standards and guidance.Experience with façade analysis tools is an advantageAESG is a multidisciplinary specialist consultancy, offering a consultancy service and work environment like no other.Through our world-class reputation for innovative thinking, pushing projects to out-perform expectations through smart application of planning, engineering and architectural solutions, our project portfolio includes some of the worlds most forward-thinking and exciting new developments.The success of our company is built on the success of individuals.
