Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a well-established MEP contractor based in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to manage high-profile residential and mixed-use projects, working alongside some of the UK’s leading Tier 1 contractors.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in design management, pre-construction, and residential projects, and will be responsible for delivering mechanical packages to the highest standards, ensuring quality, cost, and programme targets are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full lifecycle of mechanical works, from design coordination through to installation and final handover.

• Manage pre-construction activities including design reviews, risk assessments, and planning.

• Lead project delivery teams, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

• Liaise with Tier 1 contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with building regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.

• Provide leadership on technical and commercial matters throughout project delivery.

• Produce and monitor project programmes, cost forecasts, and progress reports.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager in the residential and mixed-use sector.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services systems and installation processes.

• Experience in design management and pre-construction planning.

• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

• Relevant industry qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent).
