We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Joiner to join HMS, part of Torus Group. You''ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality, efficient and responsive service to our customers, working across occupied and void properties. You''ll carry out a wide range of joinery works and associated multi-skilled tasks, contributing to our "one job, one visit" approach while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, safety and customer care.What You Will Be Doing: Carry out all aspects of internal and external joinery, including plastic and composite products, maintenance and remedial worksUndertake associated trade tasks (e.g. basic plastering, tiling and plumbing) to support efficient service deliveryPlan and organise work effectively to meet priority response times and performance targetsWork within scheduled appointment systems, liaising directly with customers and colleaguesDiagnose faults, carry out pre-measuring and determine repair requirements in line with contractual guidelinesSupervise and support apprentices or trainees when requiredUse IT and mobile devices to receive instructions, complete work orders and order materialsEnsure accurate completion of all documentation and system updatesDrive and maintain a company vehicle, stock and equipment responsiblyManage materials efficiently, minimising waste and delaysComply fully with Health and Safety requirements and safe systems of workParticipate in training, development and competency programmesWork colla
