Our client, a leading entity in the Defence and Security sector, is looking to hire a Principal Engineer - Systems Engineering (Requirements and Acceptance) on a contract basis.Key Responsibilities:Facilitate the maturation of System Requirements with senior stakeholdersWork independently or as part of a small teamLeverage deep and broad knowledge in a discipline areaCo-ordinate with stakeholders to resolve findings, technical queries, and capture proposed changesParticipate in requirement focus and working groups with multiple stakeholdersEngage and manage senior stakeholders, resolving technical conflicts effectivelyValidate assumptions, engineering data, analysis methodologies, and interpretation of resultsLiaise with both internal and external stakeholders ensuring their needs are considered and incorporated where appropriateJob Requirements:Experience with DOORS Classic is essentialExperience within a maritime environment is preferredAbility to engage effectively with senior stakeholdersUnderstanding of safety, health, and environment (SHE) standardsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsStrong organisational and team coordination abilitiesSafety:The role holder is responsible for taking reasonable care of their own health and safety, maintaining high standards for safety, health, and environment (SHE) within the organisation.
