This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring that buildings, facilities, and grounds are maintained to a safe, secure, and high standard. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of maintenance tasks, support health and safety compliance, and contribute to providing a safe and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and service users. Key Responsibilities Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and improvements across the site. Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment, identifying and resolving maintenance issues. Complete minor plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and basic repair works. Ensure the security, cleanliness, and upkeep of the premises and external areas. Assist with statutory compliance checks and health and safety inspections. Respond promptly to maintenance requests Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report significant issues. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and organisational policies. Person Specification Essential Requirements Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, caretaking, estates, or similar role. Good practical skills across a range of maintenance disciplines.
