This is a hands-on inspection role working closely with CNC machining and production teams, ensuring precision-engineered components meet demanding quality standards. The business is looking for an experienced inspector who can hit the ground running. You''ll need to be confident interpreting engineering drawings, carrying out dimensional inspection and using CMM equipment with minimal supervision. The role: Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection of precision-machined components. Inspect components against engineering drawings, specifications and dimensional tolerances. Operate CMM equipment and use a range of handheld measuring instruments. Interpret engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GDandT). Complete First Article Inspection activities and support the production of FAIR documentation. Identify, record and help resolve non-conformances throughout the manufacturing process.
