This is an excellent opportunity to step into a key leadership role within a busy hotel environment where your impact will be visible every day.THE ROLEAs Assistant Maintenance Manager, you will support the overall management of the Maintenance Department, overseeing engineers and contractors to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of equipment, facilities, and guest services.You will play a vital role in both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, ensuring high standards are maintained across the property.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSupervise engineers in completing PPM and reactive maintenance tasksManage and liaise with external contractors for servicing and repairsEnsure maintenance issues are resolved promptly or scheduled effectivelyLead team meetings and deputise for the Maintenance Manager when requiredEnsure tools, equipment, and chemicals are stored and controlled in line with company and Health and Safety proceduresSupport recruitment, training, and performance management of the maintenance teamMonitor departmental spend and work with the Property Manager to maintain budget controlPlan maintenance shifts effectively and comm
