Speech and Language TherapistFull job descriptionSalary £(phone number removed) Per annum36 hours per weekMonday Thursday 8.30 am 4.30 pmFriday - 8.30am - 3pm (staff training will take place on some Fridays - 3pm - 5pm)Term Time Only39 weeksResponsible for: Supporting students in class with complex communication needs, ensuring that all students have and are using a method of communication, assess communication needs of pupils, implement interventions and assess the outcomes, write reports and work within the multidisciplinary team.The Specialist Speech and Language Therapist post provides for pupils with ASC and complex communication difficulties as well as supporting a range of other SEN including Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and Global Development Delay.Duties include the delivery of therapy interventions ensuring that the speech, language and communication are integrated into daily structures where possible through direct class support as well as offering targeted support to those children who need additional interventions.Main purposeØ Providing Speech and Language therapy for students through individual, group and/or teacher directed therapy sessions through an integrated service utilising direct class support.Ø Providing assessment for current pupils as neededØ Contributing to training of professional staff and others as requiredØ Providing written documents as needed at a professional standardDuties and responsibilitiesØ To provide specialist intervention demonstrat
