A leading housebuilder have a requirement for an experienced Sales Advisor to join their sales team for a housing development based in the Merseyside and Cheshire regions.
The company have been building award winning homes across England for 50 years delivering exceptional customer service.
Sales Advisor role
You will be responsible for responding to all leads generated and aim to achieve required conversion rates; closing sales at the earliest opportunity and best price. The Sales Consultant will be actively involved with all parties to achieve legal completion, and will ensure that properties are ready, to company standards, at handover and that the highest levels of customer satisfaction are delivered.
Duties and responsibilities to include:
- Ensuring all customers receive a first class service maintaining high standards both personally and from a company perspective
- Responsible for the customer journey from reservation through to legal completion
- Proactively manage all customer enquiries to ensure sales targets are met, through effective lead management
- Promoting the use of specialist new build panel independent mortgage advisors and solicitors to ensure an efficient service for customers and achieving company timescales
- Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with the site teams
- Ensuring that all administrative work and reports are completed in line with company policy and agreed timelines
- Taking ownership of the development in all aspects of internal and external presentation
- Conducting market research on a monthly basis for both new build and second hand market
- Achieving sales of homes and options in line with agreed targets for example: legal completions and annual turnover
- Demonstrate comprehensive local knowledge including amenities, schools, transport links and competitors
- Achieve sales targets in line with business requirements
Skills & experience required
- Experience of delivering sales in a service environment e.g. housebuilding, retail, hospitality, banking, estate agency.
- Commercially astute with a good understanding of the market and competitors.
- Thrives on challenge, is resilient and driven to achieve personal and organisational targets.
- Able to remain calm and controlled under pressure.
- Keeps up to date with new thinking including legislation, economic conditions and technology.
- Communicates and negotiates persuasively - capable of influencing others assertively, building rapport with customers.
- Encourages and supports people in the team, sharing knowledge and best practice.
- Able to build relationships across functions, internally and externally.
- Self starter who works effectively without direct management
- Excellent communication skills.
- IT literate.
- Available to work weekends and Bank Holidays
- Full driving licence and ownership of car is essential

Working pattern is Thursday to Monday 10am - 5.30pm and 1 in 6 weekends off.
