Transport Refrigeration Engineer

Salary: -38,000 (OTE -55,000 - -60,000)

We are looking for a skilled Transport Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. The role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing transport refrigeration systems while ensuring reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on refrigeration equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control fault
• Service units, including hydrocarbon and A2L systems
• Respond to breakdowns and perform routine servicing
• Maintain van stock to agreed levels
• Record equipment history and complete documentation
• Work to company, manufacturer, and compliance standards
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Follow Health & Safety and site procedure

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years'' experience in transport refrigeration (essential)
• NVQ Level 3 City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (desirable)
• FGAS Refrigerant Handling - City & Guilds 2079 (desirable)
• Knowledge of compressor technologies and A2L systems
• Understanding of UK and international regulations
• IT literate (Word, Excel, Outlook); ERP/SAP experience
• Full UK driving licence
