Management Accountant South Manchester £50,000 An exciting opportunity to join a private equity backed business in South Manchester at a time when they are gearing up for a pivotal even in their growth cycle. This is a newly created role due to an internal promotion and offers an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified Accountant to gain more hands on experience in a very supportive and fast paced environment. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will have a broad list of duties including; Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including PandL, balance sheet, and variance analysisPartner with operational and departmental leaders to provide financial insight and support decision-makingPrepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and rolling financial projectionsAnalyse business performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitabilityMaintain and improve financial models, KPIs, and reporting packs for senior leadershipSupport month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controlsReview cost centres, margins, and overheads, challenging spend and driving efficiency initiativesAssist with statutory accounts preparation and liaise with external auditors as requiredContribute to process improvements, systems enhancements, and automation of reportingEnsure strong financial governance, compliance, and adherence to company policies and procedures Candidate profile; This role
