KS2 TeacherLocation: East GrinsteadJob Type: Part-time (4 days a week)Salary: Negotiable depending on experienceReed Education are supporting a lovely school with their KS2 Teacher role which is due to start ASAP until the end of the academic year. This will be teaching Year 5.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Register the attendance of pupils and promptly address any issues, keeping the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) informed.Take full responsibility for teaching the prescribed National Curriculum, focusing on the priorities of the School Improvement Plan.Prepare medium-term and short-term plans following whole school agreements and schemes of work.Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.Communicate and consult with parents of pupils in a professional manner, ensuring all developments are communicated to the SLT.Collaborate with outside agencies and attend required meetings, keeping the SLT informed of any developments.Maintain good order and discipline among pupils, both on school premises and during offsite visits, in line with School Policies.Required Skills and Qualifications:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Experience in teaching at the primary level, specifically Year 5.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to plan and execute effective classroom management strategies.Proficiency in assessing and reporting on pupil progress.
