This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior / Principal Electrical Design Engineer with strong data centre and mission-critical design experience to take a key role within a respected MEP consultancy. As a Senior / Principal Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of complex electrical building services systems across technically demanding data centre projects. The successful Senior / Principal Electrical Design Engineer will have experience designing resilient electrical infrastructure, including LV distribution, UPS systems, standby generation, lighting, containment and associated systems. You will work closely with clients, architects, mechanical engineers and wider project teams, taking technical ownership from concept design through to detailed design and delivery. The Senior / Principal Electrical Design Engineer will also provide technical guidance to junior engineers, review designs and contribute to client and design-team meetings.
