Sand Technician / Foundry Technician Location: Stourbridge Pay: £13.00 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week, day shift (7:00am-3:30pm) Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm Job Description Real Personnel are currently recruiting for a Sand Technician to join a well-established foundry based in Stourbridge. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role, ideal for someone with a good work ethic who is eager to learn and develop new skills within a manufacturing environment. Previous sand testing experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. We''re looking for someone reliable, practical and happy to get stuck in! Duties Include: Carrying out regular testing and quality checks on moulding sand. Monitoring sand strength, moisture levels and mould quality. Recording test results accurately using computer systems. Assisting with monitoring casting temperatures and production processes. Supporting machinery calibration and quality control activities. Identifying and reporting any quality concerns. Carrying out physical, hands-on duties within a busy foundry environment. Maintaining a clean and safe working area. Requirements: Previous foundry, factory or manufacturing experience would be advantageous. Physically capable of carrying out a demanding, hands-on role. Eager to learn and develop technical skills.
