Duties of the HGV Technician:

• Conduct servicing and repairs on HGV vehicles to industry standards
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical faults accurately
• Work efficiently both independently and within a team
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and service history
• Assist with routine vehicle maintenance to reduce downtime
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills
• Support workshop operations to meet productivity targets

Requirements of the HGV Technician:

• Qualified HGV Technician with Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Irtec licence highly desirable
• Valid HGV licence advantageous but not essential
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Proactive team player with excellent attention to detail
• Dedicated to producing high-quality work and maintaining safety standards
• Enthusiastic about continuous professional development
