Due to sustained growth, we are looking for a skilled Project Engineer with strong SolidWorks and AutoCAD expertise to join our design and delivery team. The Project Engineer Role As a Project Engineer, you will bridge the gap between mechanical design and hands-on project delivery. You will own the engineering lifecycle of bespoke material handling and sorting systems from initial concept, through 3D SolidWorks modelling, sheet metal fabrication detailing, and BOM creation, right up to shop floor manufacturing, site installation, and final commissioning. Key Responsibilities: Mechanical Layout Design: Use SolidWorks (3D) and AutoCAD (2D) to produce General Arrangement (GA) drawings, integrating in-house conveyors, screens, and structures with specialist third-party machinery. Manufacturing Detail: Create precision sheet metal and heavy fabrication drawings for direct release to the production shop floor.
