We are currently recruiting for an EHandS Manager to take responsibility for developing and maintaining a proactive Health, Safety and Environmental culture across the business. Health, Safety and Environmental Manager Roles and Responsibilities: Develop, implement and continually improve the Health and Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and industry best practice Provide Health and Safety advice and guidance to directors, managers and employees Monitor changes to Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and ensure policies and procedures remain compliant Lead and chair Health and Safety Committee meetings, monitoring actions through to completion Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventative actions Plan and deliver Health and Safety inductions, training and awareness programmes Develop and maintain the Environmental Management System in line with ISO 14001 Lead environmental improvement initiatives including waste reduction, recycling, energy efficiency and pollution prevention Monitor compliance with environmental legislation, permits and other relevant requirements Promote safe working practices and company standards across the ..... full job details .....
