Manufacturing Engineer - FansLocation: Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey About the Role We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a busy engineering and manufacturing environment. Working across operations, supply chain and design engineering, you will provide manufacturing engineering expertise across both existing and new products. You will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, supporting new product introduction and driving Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on engineering role offering the opportunity to make a direct impact on manufacturing efficiency, quality, cost and delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with manufacturing cell leaders, Lean teams and design engineering to improve process efficiency.Develop, implement and maintain Standard Work and manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, routings and visual factory standards.Create and maintain manufacturing routings within an MRP/ERP system.Implement Lean manufacturing techniques such as one-piece flow, visual management and balanced assembly lines.Apply improvement methodologies including 5S, 7 Wastes, Standardised Work and Visual Management.Identify and implement manufacturing layout improvements, working closely with facilities and maintenance teams.Support manufacturing teams with the collection and analysis of production data, identifying key areas for improvement.Establish product cycle times and monitor actual performance against ..... full job details .....
