Job Title: Painter / Plasterer - Damp and Mould Contract Location: Barnsley Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00 (8 hours per day)About the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced Painter / Plasterer to join our team in Barnsley, working on a dedicated Damp and Mould Contract. The role will involve carrying out mould treatment, damp preparation works, plaster repairs, and internal painting and decorating within residential properties.This is a hands-on role requiring high standards of workmanship, professionalism, and excellent customer service skills when working in occupied homes.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out mould removal treatments and applying anti-mould coatingsPreparing and treating damp-affected surfacesInternal painting and decoratingMinor plastering and patch repairsEnsuring all work is completed to a high standardAccurately recording works using a PDA / smartphoneAdhering to all health and safety regulationsEssential RequirementsCity and Guilds in Painting and DecoratingNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and DecoratingCSCS CardAsbestos Awareness (UKATA or IATP approved)Face Fit CertificateDBS CheckFull UK Driving Licence (must be able to drive)Ability to confidently use a PDA / smartphone for job updatesWhat We''re Looking ForPrevious experience working on damp and mould contracts (preferred)Reliable, punctual, and professionalAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyStrong attention to detailGood communication skills
