Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Surface Preparation & Cleaning
- Understanding how to properly clean and decontaminate a vehicle surface (removing dirt, wax, grease, etc.).
- Knowledge of clay bar treatment, isopropyl alcohol wipes, and proper drying techniques.
2. PPF Application Techniques
- Skilled in applying self-healing polyurethane film without trapping air bubbles, creases, or dust.
- Ability to stretch, align, and re-position the film accurately over complex curves and body lines.
- Proficient in using slip solutions and tack solutions to control film movement.
3. Tool Handling
- Competence with tools like:
- Squeegees
- Heat guns
- Knives (without damaging paint)
- Edge sealers and corner tucking tools
4. Pattern Cutting or Software Use
- Experience with pre-cut templates (via plotters) or manual bulk installs.
- Familiarity with PPF software (like XPEL DAP, 3M Pattern and Solutions Centre, or STEK) if using pre-cut kits.
5. Attention to Detail
- High level of precision to ensure clean edges, invisible seams, and no contamination under the film.
6. Paint and Surface Knowledge
- Understanding paint finishes and how different surfaces respond to PPF adhesion and heat.
7. Problem-Solving
- Ability to adapt techniques to each unique vehicle or install challenge (e.g., recessed areas, complex contours, textured surfaces).
Qualification & Experience:
Previous, relevant experience in a similar role.
Hours of work:
Double Days (Early Shift) Mon to Thurs 6.00 - 14.00, Fri 6.00 - 12.00
Double Days (Late Shift) Mon to Fri 14.00 - 01.00
Shifts may vary depending on business needs
Contractual overtime arrangements are in place to ensure required production demands can be met. More information on working arrangements will be provided throughout the recruitment process.
Rate of pay:
From -20.77 to -24.79 per hour plus shift allowance of 11.67%

Volume protection contractual overtime arrangements are in place to ensure required production demands can be met. Stand up and Stand down balances are managed as part of each employees Working Time Account (WTA).
All production employees are required to align with fixed holidays throughout the year in line with production shutdowns. Your annual leave ''floating days'' are on a pro-rota basis based on your start date and can be taken outside of those shutdowns.
