This is a permanent role offering stability, varied work and the opportunity to work across a long-term maintenance contract for Horsham District Council.The Role: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of properties including housing, offices, commercial buildings, libraries and other public buildingsDiagnose and carry out repairs relating to general building maintenance, fabric and decoratingUndertake a range of general repairs including street furniture, fixtures, fittings and other associated maintenance tasksCarry out porterage duties including moving equipment and furniture and erecting signage and barriersComplete regular PPM tasks including fire panel testing and water compliance checksCarry out water hygiene tasks including tap flushing, temperature testing and TMV servicingWork alongside engineers as a second person on two-person jobsSupport other trades to deliver a professional and safe maintenance serviceComplete accurate job notes, inspection records, logbooks and documentationUse a PDA/tablet to record completed works, materials used and photographsRespond to maintenance requests efficiently and work to a right first time approachParticipate in the out of hours ..... full job details .....
