As the successful Field Service Engineer, you will be a member of the service team, and be responsible for the installation, calibration, service and repair of metrology equipment at customer site, covering the Sheffield and South Yorkshire area. Field Service Engineer - Responsibilities: Conduct customer site visits on a daily basis Install precision measuring equipment. Complete service and calibration work. Undertake trouble shooting including fault-finding, diagnosis and rectification. Skills and Experience required: Minimum of HNC/BTEC or equivalent in an engineering discipline, or relevant industry experience. Experience of fault finding on electro-mechanical systems. Hands on practical mechanical fitting and installationBasic electrical skills for replacing circuit boards and use of test equipmentStrong communicator, organisation skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
