CNC Miller Setter / Operator Location: Walsall WS9 Pay: From £15 per hour Hours: 07:30-16:30 Mon-Thurs 07:30-14:00 on Friday Job Type: Full-time Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join a fast-paced engineering environment. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 3 and 4-axis CNC milling machines to produce precision components to tight tolerances (?0.15mm). Key Responsibilities: _ Analyse technical drawings and specifications to determine optimal machining methods and sequences. _ Set up and operate CNC milling machines (Fanuc controls) for precision component production. _ Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain accuracy, tolerances, and quality standards. _ Work with various materials, including Inconel. _ Perform routine machine maintenance and report any issues. _ Collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining challenges. Essential Skills and Experience: _ Minimum 2 years'' experience operating CNC machines, preferably milling. _ Proficiency in Fanuc controls (G-code programming). _ Experience with 3 and 4-axis milling operations. _ Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials. _ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. _ High attention to detail, precision, and adherence to tolerances. _ Good problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team.
