Your Company:NET Recruit are searching for a Part - Time Management Accountant to join a successful services business within the Dorset area.Key Responsibilities:While in this position your duties will include, but are not limited to:Producing and reviewing monthly management accounts, while supporting with annual statutory accountsPreparing accurate budgets and forecasts, ensuring reliability of financial planningPresenting financial reports and engaging with budget holders and external stakeholders to review performanceMaintaining up-to-date technical accounting knowledge to align accounts with relevant standardsManaging workload allocation, delivery, and development of assistant management accountantsReconciling balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness and processing journals, including accounting for accruals and prepayments correctlyReviewing the assistant management accountants work to verify accuracy and complianceInterrogating financial systems to identify discrepancies and implementing correctionsConducting variance analysis to monitor performance against budget and forecastIdentifying opportunities for process improvements and constructively challenging existing practicesCompleting external returns and preparing required statutory reporting, alongside ad-hoc reports and financial analysis, ensuring that all reporting deadlines are metWhat You Will Need to Apply:Possession of an accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) or be part-qualified and ..... full job details .....
