Salaried GP

We are seeking an exceptional candidate for a 12 month, fixed term salaried GP position (4-8 sessions).Although this is initially a fixed term contract, it is with a view to becoming permanent.What we are offering:A competitive package with BMA model contractA supportive and friendly practice team with a variety of GPs (Partners and Salaried), ANPs, AHPs, Nurses and HCAs.Full secretarial, administration and management support.EMIS Web, AccuRx.Supportive environment including regular Practice meetings and CPD.Special interests are encouraged and supported.Main duties of the job
Assist with an interesting clinical caseload of an established list of patients.Deal with a wide range of health needs, maintaining our quality standards.Work with the the partners and practice staff to continue developing the practice in response to the ever changing face of primary care, maintaining high standards and traditional practice.To work 4-8 clinical sessions - We are looking to replace 2 sessions on a Wednesday and 2 sessions on a Friday with the potential to offer an additional 4 sessions over a Monday and Tuesday. This doesn''t necessarily need to be the same person but could be an option for the right person.Although we are initially recruiting for a fixed term contract, this is with a view to becoming permanent.Sessions are 4 hours, 10 minutes and our core hours are between 0800 to 18.30.There would be a maximum of 2 home visits daily and you would be expected to participate in the On Call rota on a shared (pro rata) basis.About us
