About the Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team in Dronfield.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing. You will help create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting pupils with their learning and classroom activities.

Working with individuals and small groups to provide additional support.

Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.

Supporting children with their social, emotional and educational needs.

Assisting the class teacher with preparing resources and activities.

Promoting a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.

Supporting pupils during lessons, break times and other school activities.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Passionate about working with children and supporting their development.

Patient, caring and approachable.

Reliable, enthusiastic and professional.

A strong communicator and team player.

Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
