We have a fantastic opportunity for a Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to support a welcoming primary school in Leatherhead on an ad-hoc, day-to-day supply basis, starting as soon as possible.

We are looking for a creative, confident and enthusiastic educator who can deliver high-quality teaching, encourage independence and create a classroom environment where every pupil feels supported and motivated to succeed.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for flexible supply work, with the potential for the role to develop into a full-time permanent position for the right candidate, subject to suitability and the school''s requirements.
The Role

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons to Year 1 or Year 2 pupils.
• Develop children''s confidence in phonics, reading, writing and mathematics.
• Maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment.
• Monitor pupil attainment and provide targeted support where necessary.
• Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork and independent learning.
• Build strong working relationships with parents, colleagues and support staff.

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1 in a UK primary school.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Be confident using assessment to inform teaching and learning.
• Have strong organisational skills and a proactive teaching approach.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
