We are recruiting for a hands-on temporary opportunity within a busy Engineering department in Birmingham.Working as part of the engineering team, you will diagnose electrical faults, complete repairs and planned preventive maintenance, and help keep production machinery operating safely and efficiently. You will also support engineering projects, assist with new equipment commissioning, and provide guidance to technicians and apprentices.Key responsibilities Provide ongoing maintenance support within the Engineering department, identifying issues, analysing equipment and system malfunctions, and recommending corrective action.Complete approved repairs and modifications under the direction of the Plant Engineers or Plant Engineering Manager, monitoring solutions to confirm their effectiveness.Diagnose faults on PLC-controlled machinery and repair electrical faults on production machinery and associated equipment.Carry out electrical inspections, testing and routine maintenance in line with company procedures.Complete planned preventive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.Assist with the commissioning of new machinery, ..... full job details .....
