Keep up to date with safeguarding guidance and policiesAssist your key student with communication using verbal and non-verbal methodsSupport your key student in accessing social and offsite enrichment activitiesPrepare and adapt learning materialsInform the DSL/Deputy DSL of safeguarding issues, especially ongoing enquiries into whether a child is at risk of harm and/or police investigationsCommunicate daily with parents/carersAct as a source of support for teaching staff
