We are currently looking for a Factory Operative to join a well-established manufacturer based in Braintree, Essex.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, offering full training and the chance to build a long-term career within a growing business.

Please note: This role involves working with fine industrial materials in a dusty manufacturing environment. Dust extraction and PPE are provided, however you should expect to get covered in dust throughout your shift, so this role won''t suit anyone looking for a clean factory environment.

Duties will include:

• Assisting with the day-to-day running of the factory
• Operating machinery following full training
• Manual handling of materials and finished products
• Working with fine industrial materials throughout the production process
• General production and factory duties
• Keeping the work area clean, tidy and safe

The successful Factory Operative will:

• Be physically fit and happy carrying out manual work
• Be comfortable working in a dusty manufacturing and production environment where you will get covered in product during the day
• Be reliable with a good work ethic
• Be willing to learn new skills and develop within the company
• Work well as part of a team
• Have previous manufacturing or production experience (beneficial but not essential)

The Package:

• -12.71 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Temp to Perm opportunity
• Full training provided
• Opportunity to develop new skills and progress within the business
