Job Summary

Portfolio Payroll are currently working with large service organisation who are currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to join their team in Sunderland.

Key Duties/Tasks:

• Supporting the payroll process in a high volume payroll environment using Itrent
• End-to-end payroll processing
• Dealing with processing starters and leaver records
• Queries
• P11D''s
• RTI''s
• SSP/SMP/SPP
• Reconciling data
• Legislation, manual calculations
• Handling payroll queries
• HMRC submissions

Desirable skills and attributes:

• Worked as a Payroll assistant or similar
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Understand the payroll deadlines & requirements
• Able to do end to end payroll
• Great customer service as dealing with queries
