Production & Assembly Operatives

Location: Central Rochdale
Pay Rate: £12.74 per hour + overtime
Start Date: November 2026
Contract: Long-Term, Ongoing Work – Temp to Perm

Bamford Contract Services are recruiting Production & Assembly Operatives to join a busy manufacturing operation based in Central Rochdale.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking long-term, stable employment, with ongoing work, full training and the potential for permanent employment.

Duties will include:

• Assembling and bonding products

• Sanding and finishing manufactured items

• Carrying out quality checks

• Preparing materials for production

• Using hand tools and assisting with manufacturing processes

• General production, assembly and warehouse duties

• Monday to Friday – 39 hours per week

• Rotating shifts: 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm

• £12.74 per hour

• Overtime paid at time and a third

• Weekly pay plus holiday pay

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, construction, labouring or similar physical work is preferred

• Experience using hand tools is advantageous

• Good attention to detail

• Reliable, hardworking and motivated

• Able to work in a busy manufacturing environment

• Flexible and willing to work rotating shifts

• Long-term and stable ongoing work

• November 2026 starts
