We are recruiting a Part-Time Finance Director to join a charity on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will provide hands-on financial leadership, overseeing a small finance team and managing the organisation''s day-to-day financial operations during a period of transition.The successful candidate will balance strategic oversight with operational delivery, ensuring robust financial management and clear reporting to senior stakeholders.Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction to the finance functionLine manage and support a small finance teamOversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow managementEnsure strong financial controls, processes, and governance are in placeProduce accurate and timely management accounts and financial reportsSupport senior leadership with financial insight and decision-makingLiaise with auditors, external accountants, and other stakeholders as requiredEnsure compliance with charity and statutory financial requirements Person Specification Essential: Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (Finance Director / Head of Finance or similar)Experience managing and developing a small finance teamStrong hands-on approach with the ability to manage operational finance tasksExcellent communication skills, with the ability to engage non-financial stakeholders
