Technical Product Owner - Data Platform - £425 per day - Onsite We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to lead the vision, roadmap and delivery of a large scale cloud data platform, with Databricks at its core. This is a fully onsite role based in Reading, working within a fast paced enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities Define and own the product vision, roadmap and backlog for the data platform. Lead Agile delivery, including sprint planning, backlog refinement and stakeholder reviews. Act as the primary connection between business teams and technical engineers. Translate business needs into clear, detailed technical requirements and user stories. Drive automation, standardisation and best practices across the data life cycle. Champion modern engineering principles including CI/CD, DevOps and FinOps. Support the adoption of advanced data technologies including Delta Lake and Unity Catalog. Required Experience Proven background as a Technical Product Owner within IT or data-focused programmes. Strong technical knowledge of data platforms, cloud architecture and governance. Hands-on expertise with Databricks and scalable data solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical ability with experience producing high quality technical documentation. Proactive, organised and comfortable driving delivery in a complex environment.
