NHS Professionals are currently recruiting for an experienced Health Security Risk Analyst to support a high-profile UK government organisation on an initial 4-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional with experience in risk assessment, intelligence analysis, health security or emergency preparedness to contribute to a nationally important programme focused on identifying, assessing and monitoring threats to UK health security. Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of intelligence-led health security risk assessments to inform government preparedness, planning and response activities. Analyse and interpret information from a wide range of qualitative and quantitative sources, including intelligence, research and expert input. Identify, assess and monitor emerging health security risks and hazards. Contribute to the development of reasonable worst-case scenarios and impact assessments. Support the preparation and facilitation of expert workshops and stakeholder engagement activities. Build effective working relationships with subject matter experts across government and health security organisations. Produce clear, evidence-based reports, presentations and briefing materials for senior decision-makers. Support wider government risk assessment processes, including national resilience activities.
