A highly respected large Accountancy Practice is looking for an additional VAT Director to support their growing team in Manchester, paying c£100,000 - £120,000 plus up to 25% Bonus.This is a fanastic opportunity for an exisiting VAT Director looking for a fresh challenge in a larger Firm or an experienced Senior Manager who is ready for that step up.You will be joining a supportive regional team with strong links nationally where collaboration is second nature and you will eb able to choose a sector, gain a potfolio from day one that you can build upon and develop. VAT Director Responsibilities: Lead and deliver high-quality VAT advisory services across a broad and complex client portfolio Work closely with Partners and fellow Directors as additional senior headcount (not a replacement) Advise clients across Financial Services, Retail and Consumer, Public Sector, Customs and International Trade, and Environmental taxes Manage and grow key client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor Play a key role in business development, identifying opportunities and converting warm leads Provide technical leadership and sign-off on complex VAT matters Coach, develop and mentor senior managers and wider team members Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the regional VAT practice VAT Director attributes: CTA / ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Currently operating at VAT Director level or an experienced VAT Senior Manager ready to step up Strong technical
