Year 3 Teaching Assistant - South Yardley, Birmingham

We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in South Yardley, Birmingham, supporting pupils in Year 3.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone with a strong passion for supporting children and helping them reach their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to provide high-quality support both in the classroom and with individual pupils.

The Role
* Supporting pupils across a Year 3 classroom
* Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required
* Helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally
* Supporting classroom routines and behaviour management
* Creating a positive, inclusive and encouraging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience working within a primary school is desirable
* Experience supporting children in Key Stage 2 is advantageous
* A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* The ability to build positive relationships with pupils
* Reliable, proactive and committed to supporting children''s learning
