The Supply Register are recruiting on behalf of The Polesworth School for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their secondary team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire and engage students across Key Stage 3 & 4!

Position: Maths Teacher
Key Stage: KS3 & 4
Contract: Full-Time 

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4, creating a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages participation, curiosity and achievement.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an engaging and ambitious Maths curriculum, inspiring students to develop their mathematical knowledge, skills and confidence.

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons for students.
• Create a positive classroom environment that supports learning and progression.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider aims of the department and school.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young people.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
