This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual looking for stable, ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position within a supportive workshop environment.The RoleAs a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for preparing and coating metal components to a high-quality finish, ensuring all products meet required specifications and standards. You will be spraying items that are hung on a moving rack prior to entering the oven, using a hand sprayer. This role does not involve tracking.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing metal surfaces for coating (cleaning, sanding, masking)Applying powder coating using hand spray equipment to a high standardSpraying items on a moving rack system before curingOperating curing ovens and monitoring temperatures and timingsInspecting finished products to ensure quality and consistencyMaintaining equipment and ensuring a clean, safe working environmentFollowing health and safety procedures at all timesWorking to production schedules and deadlinesRequirementsPowder coating experience within the last 3 yearsProven experience using hand spraying equipmentExperience spraying products on moving rack systemsStrong understanding of powder coating processes and technique
